How to Sign up for Padlet

Step 1. Visit padlet.com

Step 2. Click the Sign up button on the top right of the screen:

Step 3. Enter an email address (1) and click Continue (2):

Step 4. Password must contain at least 8 characters but please, don’t use 12345678!

Step 5. Enter the verification code they have sent to your email.

Step 6. Now you can enter into :Padlet. Click on «More» (1):

Step 7: Here you see the number of padlets used (1), and change the Profile (2) and Settings (3). Click on Settings (3).

Step 8: Change the Avatar (1), Name (2), Language (3) and check your Account type (4):

How to make a padlet

Step 9: Clic on the «+» button on the bottom of the screen to make a padlet. Tjem choose to work from a «Wall with sections» template:

Step 10: In the padlet you have many options. You can use the Settings icon (5) to edit the title (1) and other appearance settings. Click on the Settings icon (5).

Step 11: In the Settings change the Title, Description, Icon, Wallpaper, Color scheme and Font:

Step 12: Click on the three little dots (1) to Rename the section to «Space«:

Step 13: Add a posts. Posts on Paddlet can accomodate almost any kind of file or link, including text, images (2), video, YouTube links, padlets, and many more. Add a link to every of your blog’s posts (3):

How to control the privacy of your padlet

Step 14: You can control the privacy of a padlet in the Share window, accessed by selecting the Share arrow on the top-right side of your padlet > Link privacy.

Step 15: Click on the drop-down menu next to ‘Visitor permissions,’ you can choose whether people can be a Reader, Writer [the default setting], Moderator or have No access to your padlet at all!

How to share your padlet

Step 16: When you’re ready to share your padlet, click the Share arrow on the top-right or your padlet screen.
